BABY BANANA
(Manzano)

This is small banana, 3-5 inches long. Usually shipped yellow, it ripes to a complete black and is best then.

BREADFRUIT


Breadfruit can be used at various stages of ripeness depending upon what flavor you wish. Green (unripe) breadfruit is hard and rather dry, also quite starchy.

GUAVA


The skin is inedible, but the pink to deep salmon color flesh holds a distinct tropical aroma and flavor, with lemon to strawberry flavors being detected.

(Purple Granadilla )

This round, dark purple fruit is best when wrinkled and soft. The outer shell must be cut carefully to extract the runny juice and seedy pulp inside.

Two types of persimmons are most commonly found. The Fuyu is round with a rather flat top and bottom and should be eaten when hard, like an apple.
